As we begin to wind down 2025, we’re already diving into planning for our 2026 programming and events. Please share your upcoming calendar with us so we can better avoid potential scheduling conflicts and continue to support our Orange County arts community as effectively as possible. Email your 2026 events to connect@ocartscouncil.org -  we look forward to collaborating with you! The OCNYAC is looking for hosts for monthly Arts Mixers at locations across the county. Mixers must be free and open to the public but can coincide with another free or for-purchase event - concert, performance, gallery opening, etc. Let’s fill your space! What is needed from you: specify your date and be ready to host (bites and drinks are encouraged but not required). What we offer: promotion of the mixer as an OCNYAC event with additional visibility on our emails and socials. One mixer is available per month, don’t wait to reserve your spot! The OCNYAC is honored to receive a 2026 Support for Organizations Grant With gratitude, we are thrilled to announce the Orange County Arts Council has been awarded a $25,000 grant for general operating expenses from the NYS Council on the Arts. We also wish to congratulate the other awardees in our county. Thank you to Governor Hochul and NYSCA for their continued support of the arts in Orange County. See the full announcement HERE Congratulations to Jena Argenta on being selected for a NYSCA Support for Artists Grant Jena Argent has been selected by the NYS Council on the Arts as a grant recipient in the Support for Artists category. Jena will receive funding for the development of a new project: Invisible Manuscripts. Thank you to once again to Governor Hochul and NYSCA for their support. Congratulations Jena!
